Easy Airfryer Chicken Tandoori

Ingredients for Airfryer Chicken Tandoori

Airfryer Chicken Tandoori Recipe

  • Place the chopped chicken thigh pieces in a non metallic bowl

  • Add the spice mix and stir to coat the pieces

  • Add the yoghurt and mix well until every piece is completely coated.

  • Cover with clingfilm and marinade in the fridge for at least an hour.

  • When marinaded, remove from the fridge and discard clingfilm.

  • Pre-heat the airfryer to 240c (Max crisp setting on a Ninja Foodi Max)

  • Once hot, add the chicken thighs gently to the airfryer drawer

  • Cook for 15 minutes, flipping the pieces every 5 minutes or so.

  • The chicken should start to blacken in places, keep cooking the chicken until it chars.

  • Once cooked remove and serve with Naan breads, rice and a mushroom bhaaji

We now don’t deep fry at all, as the design of the Ninja Foodi means that both dry and wet batters can be air fried.
